The Food and Drug Administration says it has approved two new products that make it possible for players to “buy” certain foods, including the Hunger Games: Catching Fire game and the Hunger: Mockingjay.
The FDA announced the approval Monday and said it will likely be in place by March 31, 2017.
The new products are named Aftermath and Pulsar.
The Aftermath is a brand-new product, the FDA said.
It’s a supplement for players of the Hunger games game, which is a popular smartphone game for teens and adults.
The Pulsars is an “informational supplement” that will be used to help players stay up-to-date on news stories and entertainment, the agency said.
The game has been around since 2010, and players have created more than a billion games.
