Swiss authorities say they’ve found the symbols of the Islamic State group at an Austrian airport.
Authorities say the symbols were discovered when they searched the luggage of a man who went to the airport with a group of men from the extremist group.
The man, who was not named, told authorities he was not aware of any group that uses the symbols.
Authorities are now investigating whether the group may have ties to terrorism.
Authorities say the airport was also searched.
They say they don’t believe the group was involved in the attack, but said there was a strong possibility it was linked.
Austria has been at the forefront of the fight against the spread of terrorism since the November attacks in Paris.
